What's the hardness of the pencils you were useing on this piece? 3B? 4B? I'm guessing normal pencil (non-mechanical, or with a big diameter) because of how the shading is done. It looks very nice btw n_n
Wait 0.5mm? Then what is the size of the paper you're useing? I use a mechanical pencil with 0.5 as well but i can't make such thick lines. Granted, i haven't used 2B in a while. It is my favourite thickness, but i have been useing 2H lately for a neemu i am making.
Looking at the drawing again and i have to say, i realy like the hanging plants on the porch with the basement entry. IMO it's those little things that make a drawing so much more
Another question. Did you use Photoshop or something similar to make those lines purple? I (think i) can see that you used a brush for the bottom right one, but with the others ones just the lines. It could also just be that my mind/monitor is playing tricks on me. xD
Well, I always use A4. I guess maybe it also depends on the brand of the lead you use. I mean, I always find the Rotring brand softer than Staedtler even though they're both 2B. For this pic, I used Rotring 2B.
As for the purple lines, yup, I adjusted the Color Balance.
